Unifying Business Intelligence and Content Management with SOA

Abstract:

The objective of a Web Content Management System (CMS) is to simplify and streamline the process of creating high quality, accessible web sites. ThinCMS is a research project which demonstrates the application of current Internet technologies and standards to the task of web site creation and maintenance. ThinCMS is an outgrowth of the author's "Web Services" course at the Heinz School of Carnegie Mellon and of consulting work over the years on web sites and web site creation tools.
